How Is Hearing Loss Treated?

  1. See an ENT for a Medical Evaluation

    You may see an ENT if medical intervention can assist you with your hearing loss. They can determine whether any physiological medical conditions are affecting your hearing. All patients experiencing hearing loss will be evaluated by our physician. in most cases, your hearing will be tested at this evaluation with the specialist you see.

  2. See an Expert for a Hearing Evaluation

    At the recommendation of the doctor, patients will then be scheduled with an audiologist for a hearing evaluation. All on-site results are evaluated at the time of service. Our specialists will perform a range of hearing tests to determine your hearing loss’s cause and severity. They will answer any questions you have and work with you to find the right treatment solution for your needs.

  3. Have Your Hearing Aid Fit

    Hearing aids are part of a comprehensive, holistic communication treatment plan. After helping you choose the treatment plan that is right for you, the doctor of audiology will guide you through the fitting process and support your acclimation to your new communication technology. The audiology team will be with you every step of the way.

  4. Follow-Up Consultation

    A follow-up visit is typically scheduled one to two weeks after your initial fitting. Your hearing specialist will work with you to make further adjustments, answer any additional questions or provide support to you and your family.
