Deirdre Monahan is a board-certified physician assistant who has been caring for patients since 2009. She earned her degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and spent much of her career in emergency medicine in Putnam. She also has experience in Naples, Florida and Worcester, Massachusetts.
Through her years in the ER, Deirdre treated a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions—from sinus infections and earaches to dizziness and throat disorders—which sparked a lasting passion for the specialty. Today, she is dedicated to helping patients of all ages feel better, breathe easier and enjoy healthier lives.
A proud mom, Deirdre especially enjoys caring for children and helping families feel at ease during visits. Outside of work, she loves spending time at the beach in the summer, skiing in the winter, exploring interior design projects, exercising with her husband and pursuing natural and holistic approaches to health and wellness for herself and her family.
